Public-private partnership for water supply in Iloilo

To address the need to deliver uninterrupted supply of potable water to Iloilo City and its nearby towns, the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA), currently headed by Acting Administrator Salvador C. Ner (seated, 3rd from right), authorized the Metro Iloilo Water District (MIWD) to purchase bulk water from Iloilo Primewater Ventures Corporation. Public-private partnership is being encouraged by the national government in an effort to promote the country's economic growth.
