Magsaysay assured the LWUA chief of immediate public hearing, deliberation and passage of the two bills which are under consideration by the Senate Committee on Public Works and Highways. The Magsaysay bill proposed among others the increase in authorized capitalization of LWUA from P2.5 billion to P50 billion to further respond to the need of providing safe and potable water supply in the countryside.
