LWUA Chairman Prospero Pichay, Jr. (2nd from left) accepts the rubber boat donated recently by AQA Global Construction through its Chairman Anton Achurra, Jr. (2nd from right) to beef up LWUA's disaster rescue and relief capability during calamities. The rubber boat could carry 12 to 15 individuals and could operate in deep floodwater. Recently, LWEUA also accepted 2 units of potable water purifiers from Siemens, Inc. which the agency can use to provide emergency potable drinking water in calamity areas.
