Metro Roxas WD commends LWUA chief
Citation for LWUA Administrator - Administrator Lorenzo H. Jamora (extreme left) of the Local Water Utilities Administration receives a plaque of appreciation from Board of Directors Antonio Balgos (center) and Lolita Quisumbing (extreme right) during the 30th founding anniversary celebration of the Metro Roxas Water District (MRWD). The LWUA chief was commended for his support in improving the operational system of the MRWD. Inset below is the 30,000 cubic meters per day water treatment plant of the MRWD located at Paslang, Panitan in Capiz. The plant will be operational by January, 2007 and is part of the upgrading and modernization program of the MRWD in anticipation of the expected urbanization of Roxas City and nearby towns.
