Proceso Domingo of the LWUA Board of Trustees
said the water developmental agency will endorse to the water district
a new loan assistance program intended to boost their water service operational
efficiency and financial viability in preparation for their availing of
further credit assistance from other government and private lending institutions
in accordnace with the ongoing rationalization of the provincial water
supply sector. This was part of the presentation by LWUA and the USAID-Economic
Cooperation for Asia (Eco-Asia) of the proposed new loan program for the
water districts held last week at the Century Park Hotel in Manila. Also
