The
development partnership and cooperation between the national
agency Local Water Utilities Admninistration (LWUA) and
the locally established water districts remain the most
workable and effective concept in the development and sustaining
reliable water supply systems in the countryside whether
for individual municipal or bulk water supply arrangements.
This was emphasized by LWUA Institutional Development Service
area manager Engr. Antonio Magtibay, representing LWUA Acting
Administrator Daniel I. Landingin in his presentation during
the Water WATCH Conference in Baler, Aurora opened by Senator
Edgardo Angara, Chairman of the Congressional Committee
on Science and Technology and Engineering (COMSTE) to promote
the use of modern technology and other concepts in the development
of the country's water supply and resources.
