PGMA, Chairman Pichay lead groundbreaking of P10-M Porac water project

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo assisted by LWUA Chairman Prospero A. Pichay, Jr. (2nd from left) lowers the time capsule during the groundbreaking of P10-million potable water supply project to benefit residents of six depressed barangays in Porac, Pampanga funded by a grant from the Office of the President. The project is part of LWUA's "Tubig na Malinis at Mura sa Bawa't Tahanan" program in support of PGMA administration's vision of safe drinking water for all barangays with particular emphasis on the so-called waterless areas. Photo at left shows the existing water reservoir which will be rehabilitated and used in water supply distribution in Bgy. Hacienda Dolores, the biggest barangays to be benefiting from the project.
