PGMA leads P15-M Guagua water system project inauguration

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo leads the groundbreaking and capsule-laying ceremony for the P15-Million water supply expansion project of the Guagua Water District (GWD) in the waterless barangay of Ascomo, Guagua, Pampanga which will be funded partially by a grant from the Office of the President through the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA). With the President are (from left ) LWUA Acting Admimistrator Daniel I. Landingin representing LWUA Chairman Prospero A, Pichay, Jr.; GWD General Manager Eduardo Rodriguez and Guagua Mayor Ricardo S. Rivera. The project will benefit some 2,500 residents of Bgy. Ascomo with adequate supply of safe, clean and affordable drinking water.
