The LWUA Consult, Incorporated, a wholly-owned subsidiary
of the Local Water Utilities Administration ,recently entered
into a Memorandum of Agreement with GEONOBEL, USA for a
joint partnership in the development of sateftite-based
Geographic Information System (GIS) specifically designed
for the country's numerous water districts to help address
their non-revenue water or system loss problems and guide
them in their future expansion projects. Signatories are
( starting 2nd from left ) Engr. Edwin Ruiz, LCI executive
vice-president; Daniel I. Landingin, LCI acting president
and CEO; Michael Samuel, president and Venkatesh Narasimhaiah,
project manager of GEONOBEL, USA. Witnessing at left is
Justin Hanson, business development director of MWH Soft,
Australia, a partner of GEONOBEL which develops hydraulic
simulation softwares that the water districts can use in
preparation of their expansion program.
