World Bank to assist LWUA in potable water projects

The World Bank (International Bank for Reconstruction and Development) has proposed a project called Local Government Support for Regional Water Supply Project (LGSRWSP) with a funding component amounting to US$55 million aimed at strengthening the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) and the water districts and increasing as well as improving water service to water consumers in the provinces.
