Senator Ramon
"Bong" Revilla, Jr., the Senate Public Works Committee
chair and among the main proponents of a bill seeking to increase
capital as well as loan funds for the provincial water supply
sector, literally gets a taste of drinking water made safe and
potable after it was drawn from a river source and made to pass
through rigid purification process in the modern water treatment
plant of the Metro Roxas Water District (MRWD) in Capiz. With
Revilla are Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) Administrator
Orlando C. Hondrade ( 3rd from left), Roxas City Mayor Vicente
B. Bermejo (right), and members of the MRWD interim board and
management namely (from left ) Atty. Ellen Te, Engr. Antonio Magtibay,
Engr. Almer Zerrudo and Engr. Pablo Bercilla, all from LWUA.
