| LWUA outreach for Bicol typhoon victims | ||||||

| Dr.
Edison Cuenca of the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) administrative
services (3rd from right) turns over to Jusin Mujar, OIC general
manager of the Camalig Water District (CWD) material donations
for distribution to the victims of Typhoon Reming in said Albay town.
LWUA did not conduct its traditional Christmas program last December and
donated the whole budget allotted for said activity for the Bicol typhoon
victims. LWUA has also requested the Office of the President for P82 million
funding assistance for the immediate rehabilitation of the water systems
of 22 water districts in the region. Dr. Cuenca and public affairs division
manager Teodoro Reynoso led the LWUA Bicol Outreach team dispatched
by LWUA Administrator Lorenzo H. Jamora during the holidays to distribute
material donations to six water districts in Albay gravely affected by
