The LWUA Consult, Incorporated (LCI) was created and established
as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Local Water Utilities
Administration specifically to augment and complement LWUA
in its primary task of promoting and developing provincial
water supply systems by providing specialized technical
assistance to local water utilities and other water supply
developers and providers.
As
a duly-incorporated entity, the LWUA Consult, Inc. is distinct
from LWUA with its own corporate structure but dependent
on LWUA for policy direction.
The
primary purpose and objective of the corporation is to engage
in and carry on a general business of system management,
consultancy, technology research and special services to
enhance the capabilities of water utilities through water
resources
development, surveys, sewerage development and other technology
transfer arrangements, either alone or jointly with and
for other companies, associations and entities or persons.
LCI
was legally formed by virtue of LWUA Board of Trustees Resolutions
No. 152, series of 2009 dated June 30, 2009 and No.
360, series of 2009; dated August 25, 2009 and Securities
and Exchange Commission (SEC) Certificate of Incorporation
(Company Registry Number CS 200918943) dated December 7,
2009.
