Water Utilities Administration Chairman Prospero A. Pichay,
Jr. and Cabuyao, Laguna Mayor Isidro Hemedes (2nd from right
and right, respectively) jointly lead the groundbreaking
ceremony for a P125-million potable water supply project
that will provide safe potable water supply to some 32,000
residents in ten barangays in Cabuyao, Laguna. To be funded
by a P100 million loan from LWUA and another P25 million
grant from the Office of the President, the project is part
of the "Tubig na Malinis at Mura sa Bawa't Tahanan"
of LWUA in support of the PGMA administration's vision of
bringing potable water to all barangays, especially the
so-called still waterless communities. Also in photo are
officials of the Cabuyao Water District led by its Chairman
Adel Chung and interim General Manager Jun de Castro, Jr.
and LWUA Acting Deputy Administrator for Investments and
Finance Wilfredo Feleo and Area Manager Antonio Magtibay.
