San Pedro Water District gets modern geographic information system for water projects


San Pedro Water District (SPWD) General Manager Guillermo Pili, Jr. (center, right) and CEST, Inc. President Antonio Navarro (center, left) shake hands after signing a two-year contract worth P6.15 million for the phased installation of the modern geographic information system (GIS) in the SPWD during a simple ceremony at the United States Commercial Service office in Makati City recently. The GIS utilizing aerial as well as satellite maps will assist in the identification of water sources and the layout of pipelines, among others, in preparation for future water supply projects of the SPWD.
