Led by House Deputy Speaker Congressman Eric Singson, Candon City Mayor Allen Singson and former Mayor Grace Singson, the entirely-new P148-million Candon City water supply system was inaugurated recently signalling the advent of modern potable water supply for the city and two nearby towns ofSalcedo and Galimuyod in Ilocos Sur. The system that utilizes a river source in Salcedo was constructed with the technical and financial assistance of LWUA with loan funds from the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).
