The Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) has approved the grant of financial assistance to the Metro La Union Water District (MLUWD) involving P72.7 million in regular loan, P2.75 million in special loan and P24.75 million in grant, to support the further improvement and expansion of the MLUWD's water system which covers the capital city of San Fernando and adjacent towns in La Union.
