P193-M new water supply system in Candon


Candon City (Ilocos Sur) Mayor Allen Singson (2nd from left, top photo) shows to LWUA Administrator Lorenzo H. Jamora (2nd from right, top photo) the other facilities of the P193 million water supply system which is a new project of the Candon City Water District (CCWD) under the funding of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and Land Bank of the Philippines. The project includes 37.6 kms of pipelines, 100 cubic meter reservoir at Bgy. Amguid, 100 cubic meter reservoir at San Gaspar in Salcedo, two booster pumping stations and infiltration gallery river source at Bgy. Atabay. Jamora said that the project, which is through the initiative of House Deputy Speaker Eric Singson, will be fully operational by the last quarter of this year.
