Former Calbiga exec cited for restoring water district
Former Calbiga (Samar) Mayor Ildefonso S. Abancio (center) receives a plaque of citation from Mrs. Petrona C. Figueroa (2nd from left), Chairman of the Board of the Calbiga Water District. The special recognition was given to Atty. Abancio for restoring and rehabilitating the water district and bringing back 24-hour water service for Calbiga residents as its former Interim General Manager. Also in the ceremony from left to right are LWUA Administrator Lorenzo H. Jamora; Mrs. Vicing Abancio and Solicitor General Antonio "Ed" Nachura as the special guest.
