New
water system for San Carlos City
San
Carlos City Mayor Jolly V. Resuello (wearing hat) shared the honors
of leading the inauguration recently of the newly-completed P36-million
water supply improvement project of the San Carlos City Water District
(SCCWD) featuring a modern booster pump station ( inset) which controls
water flow and pressure depending on demand. The project had been funded
and technically assisted by LWUA under a project loan package with the
Asian Development Bank (ADB). The project which also involved the laying
of some 22 kilometers of new and bigger-diameter pipelines around San
Carlos is designed to extend piped potable water to an additional 2,000
households in this Pangasinan city noted for its world-class mangoes.
