Metro Cebu Water District ink P1.2 billion loan
Officials
of the Development Bank of the Philippines and Metropolitan Cebu Water
District (MCWD) recently inked a P1.2 billion loan to cover MCWD's outstanding
obligations with the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA). Shaking
hands are principal signatories to the loan agreement: DBP President
Reynaldo G. David (left) and MCWD Board Chairman Juan Saul Montecillo
(right). Also in the photo is MCWD General Manager Armando Paredes (far
right). LWUA Administrator Lorenzo H. Jamora (standing in center) said
the amount will be used by the agency to finance upgrading projects
for small water districts.
