The bid of
the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) for legislated
increase in its authorized capital stock and borrowing capacities
to sustain provincial water supply development got needed boost
with the approval on first reading by the House Committee on Public
Works and Highways chaired by Rep. Roger G. Mercado of House bill
2394 authored by House Deputy Speaker Eric D. Singson providing
