Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Chief Representative Norio Matsuda (with tie) and LWUA Administrator Orlando C. Hondrade shared the honors of leading the inauguration of the newly-completed water supply project of Naujan Water District in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro which was funded by P5 million grant under the JICA/LWUA Small Water Districts Improvement Program. Photo at left shows Matsuda turning over the project to NWD Board Director Gaudioso M. Asilo and NWD General Manager Rio M. Albufera. Previous to this, ten water districts have already undergone improvement under the program and the project in Naujan is the first to be completed in the next batch of another ten small water districts selected from across the country.
