LWUA readies water projects for $50-M World Bank funding

The Local Water Utilities Administration has recently engaged the services of two engineering consultancy firms to prepare the feasibility studies, detailed engineering design and bid documents covering water supply improvement projects for ten districts under the so-called Municipal Water Supply Project Package that would be funded by a US$50 million loan from the World Bank. Photo shows LWUA Administrator Orlando C. Hondrade and Dr. Reynaldo Medina, president of the Woodfields Consultant, Inc. (seated, left and right of center) signing the consultancy agreement. LWUA has earlier signed similar agreements with the Poyry Environmental Gmbtt represented by its senior vice president Dr. Christoph Theune. Also in photo signing as witnesses are LWUA Area Manager Mario I. Quitoriano (seated left) and Eduardo Santos of Woodfields.
