LWUA COMPLETES P560-M PROJECTS IN 25 PROV'L AREAS. LWUA Administrator Orlando Hondrade has reported the completion of twenty-five water supply projects in as many provincial areas in the overall project cost of P560.2 million as of the end of June 2008. including the rehabilitation of some systems damaged by destructive typhoons in the Bicol region. PGMA'S HUMANITARIAN OFFENSIVE WATER PROJECT IN BASILAN. LWUA officials led by Trustee Ester Alano Laconico Feria and acting Senior Deputy Administrator Daniel I. Landingin preside over the inauguration of a part of a P3.2-million water supply improvement project of the Isabela City Water District for President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's Humanitarian Offensive for ARMM. LWUA OFFERS NEW LOAN FACILITY. LWUA Administrator Orlando C. Hondrade recently announced that the agency has opened for water districts a special credit facility supported by a P300-M seed capital provided by the DOF and DBM through the strong backing and endorsement of DOF Undersecretary Jeremias N. WATER SECTOR REFORMS. The World Bank through the Department of Finance recently conducted a seminar-workshop to present measures and initiatives in support of water sector reforms being pushed by the Arroyo administration under Executive Order No. 279. READ ON
