LWUA marks its 42nd year. LWUA marked its 42nd anniversary last Friday, Sept. 18 in a simple celebration themed "Ensuring Water Security through Good Governance." LWUA officials and employees led by Administrator Andres F. Ibarra affirmed the agency's commitment to good governance and its tenets of accountability, transparency and adherence to the rule of law in decision-making and in dealing with its clientele and stakeholders. Investment recovered. LWUA Administrator Andres Ibarra (3rd form left) receives the ceremonial check from Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) president Cristina Que Orbeta representing the amount of P197 million as part of the water agency's recovered investments from the now defunct Express Savings Bank, Inc.
